The Role of UNLZ School of Agriculture within the INTA-AMBA Local Advisory Council
Abstract
This paper presents a series of reflections based on the conceptualization of agricultural production in peri-urban areas, specifically within the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA). Three key interrelated axes were identified as essential for developing territorial intervention strategies. These axes include: the participation of the INTA-AMBA Local Advisory Council (CLA), the inherent complexities of peri-urban environments, and the institutional role of universities within the CLA, with a specific focus on the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at UNLZ (FCA-UNLZ).
