Abstract

On May 7, 2014, the Environment and Natural Resources Foundation (FARN), in collaboration with the Fundación Ciudad and the Argentine Journalism Forum (FOPEA), issued a call for proposals to access the "Response Fund for the Social Monitoring of the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Sanitation." This initiative was conducted within the framework of the program "Social Monitoring of the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Sanitation: Strengthening Local Voice and Action," funded by the European Union. The competition aimed to strengthen the capacity of social stakeholders in monitoring both the sanitation progress and the environmental status of the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin.
